Medical Stories
- Life saved by college teacher
Mar 21, 2018 -- It all happened at Farmington's local school. One of the teachers heard the distress calls from a colleague in the bathroom and immediately jumped to action by dragging the colleague from one of the stalls and immediately providing CPR assistance “She crawled under the stall and pulled out the person that was in distress — by that time, she had stopped breathing, it was very scary,” said Superintendent Tom Ward. EMT services arrived a few minutes later and immediately took the person to the nearest hospital.
