As the second largest city in California, San Diego is the destination spot for millions of visitors each year thanks to well-known attractions such as the San Diego Zoo, SeaWorld and the annual Comic-Con festival. San Diego is also home to several military bases including the west coast boot camp for the US Marines. With such a large diverse population, San Diego medical professionals must stay informed of the latest standards and technologies including ACLS certification. San Diego medical personnel are found throughout the city as first responders, paramedics, medics in the military, as well as in traditional health care settings such as hospitals, medical offices, acute treatment facilities, and other locations. Many medical professionals are required to stay current in several certifications and actively obtain continuing education credits including ACLS renewal. San Diego professionals as well as other health care practitioners follow the American Heart Association guidelines to renew BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications every two years.
Traditionally, health care facilities often arranged in-house classes or required staff to travel to certification classes off-site to obtain their renewal updates. On site, classes are often hard to attend due to emergencies, and already crowded work schedules. With the technology available today, online courses can be a quick and easy solution to obtaining the recertification needed to satisfy the AHA requirements. Online certification offered by the ACLS Training Center is recognized in all states as well as many facilities and countries worldwide. We offer new certification or certification renewal courses for BLS, PALS, and ACLS. When you order a course from us, you are free to take as much time as you need to thoroughly review and study the materials at a time and place convenient for you. There is no time limit to when you must take the online test so you can make use of our resources and materials as well as any other resources that may apply to your particular field of practice. New technology now includes medical apps available that can help you master algorithms and other information needed to pass your ACLS certification or recertification tests. You can also search online and find free downloadable algorithms to study prior to testing for ACLS certification. Since this is often the most difficult section of testing, you have the advantage of taking all the time you need to use these tools and other resources to become comfortable in reading and identifying algorithms. We include a complete provider manual free with each course and our support staff is available to answer any questions you may have about the testing process.
When you are fully comfortable and feel ready, take the multiple-choice online test and receive your grade immediately. When you order certification courses through us, you obtain free shipping, and instant access to our comprehensive online study materials that you can download and print out. Once you are ready and complete the test you get immediate feedback concerning your grade. If for whatever reason you fail to pass the test the first time, we offer immediate feedback on the questions missed and you may take the test up to three times free. As the oldest and largest online provider of ACLS certification courses, we have assisted thousands of medical professionals to obtain ACLS renewal. Mar 20, 2023 --The University of California San Diego's Simulation training center has created a new app called "Rescue Me CPR!" to assist people in aiding others in cardiac emergencies. The app provides visual, voice and text prompts to help anyone, whether they have experience with cardiopulmonary resuscitation or not. Experts says that CPR can double or triple a person's chance of survival and every year, there are 350,000 out-of-hospital cardiac arrests in the US. The developers aim to get the app on as many phones as possible and are also working on a pediatric and Spanish version.
Jul 27, 2022 --A 70-year-old man from San Diego, who survived a sudden cardiac arrest in December, and his wife had the opportunity to meet and thank the first responders who saved his life. The couple says the paramedics, EMTs, firefighters, and dispatcher were like angels. First responders said it was an incredible experience to meet someone they helped, adding that they rarely get to follow up with patients after they’ve been taken to the hospital. The couple has also signed up to take CPR classes. Steve Cline, the survivor, plans to write a book about his experiences.
