Certification in advanced cardiac life support or ACLS is required for many medical professionals. As a systematic plan of action, ACLS increases the odds for successful support and resuscitation to victims suffering from cardiac arrest. Whereas BLS or basic life support begins the initial resuscitation efforts, advanced cardiac life support continues support according to updated American Heart Association Guidelines that recommend a specific combination of medications and techniques. Most medical professionals are required to obtain recertification or renewal of their ACLS training every two years.
Traditionally, classes are available at on-site locations or an American Heart Association supported ACLS training center. However, these classes may be difficult to attend for some individuals due to work schedules, transportation issues or other challenges that many medical professionals face when balancing a heavy workload. Online certification is an ideal way to obtain the certification, or recertification credentials you need at a time and place convenient for you. Since 1998, we have provided online courses for ACLS certification or recertification to the medical community. We are pleased now to also offer the BLS and PALS certification Los Angeles professionals need for continued compliance in most medical facilities.
We make it easy to obtain the ACLS certification Los Angeles medical professionals need anytime and at prices designed not to break your budget. When preparing for PALS certification, Los Angeles medical professionals often find it hard to find time to attend pre-testing review classes on-site due to busy work schedules. When you sign up for any of the courses we offer, you can take as much time as needed to study before taking the test. When preparing for BLS certification, Los Angeles first responders and other professionals are encouraged to review previous course information and updated standards. With online courses, you cover the material at your own pace rather than trying to squeeze it all in during a pre-set class time or in a large group setting. We provide you with a free exam to study and review. The course for BLS certification Los Angeles professionals receive from us is backed by excellent customer support including a guarantee for the first 30 days and up to three total exam attempts, should fail to pass your exam the first time.

Apr 07, 2023 --Los Angeles County is launching the "L.A. County Heart Heroes 2023 Campaign" to train 500,000 county residents and workers in hands-only CPR by the end of the year. The training will be conducted at various public places, such as malls, campuses, places of worship, sporting events, and entertainment venues. Heart disease is a leading cause of death in the county, and about 70% of cardiac arrests occur at home. Immediate CPR can double or even triple a victim's chances of survival. The goal of the campaign is to create "heart heroes" who can provide life-saving support to people experiencing a cardiac event.
Jul 23, 2022 --A West Hollywood man, Brian Cunha, suffered a heart attack while walking his dog but was saved by a stranger who performed CPR while waiting for the ambulance. Cunha's heart stopped three times, and he was in the hospital for four days, but the doctors said he wouldn't have survived if the Good Samaritan hadn't acted so quickly. Cunha's story highlights the importance of CPR training, and CPR-certified volunteer Andrea Fuller encourages people to brush up on their skills, even if they're not fully trained. Hands-only CPR can save lives.
