Biography
Raised in Houston, TX and a native of Louisiana, Amanda is a graduate of the PN program at Louisiana Technical College in Lafayette, LA. Amanda has been a PN since 2005 with extensive experience in ICU, Medical-Surgical, Cardiac, Long-Term Care, Case Management, and Performance Improvement. She holds certifications for Care of the Mechanically Ventilated Patient, ACLS, Telemetry, and IV Therapy. Currently, she is a part-time student at McNeese State University in Lake Charles, LA and is working on her MSN for Family Nurse Practitioner. Amanda’s strong sense of duty and dedication to serve the community are what drives her toward medical excellence.
Amanda also attended the EMT program at Louisiana Technical College in Lafayette, LA and graduated in 1997.
As a member of the Louisiana National Guard from 1997–2001, she proudly served as a Military Medic. Thanks for your service Amanda!
